Thank you for entering the Thatcham Writers short story competition.

This year’s winners are:

	1^st prize (£20 Waterstone’s gift card) – Stranger in the Dark by Debra Pomfret
	2^nd prize (£10 Waterstone’s gift card) – The Wrong Mr Right by Janette B. Miranda

The prizes will be presented by the Mayor of Thatcham at the ‘Lyrics and Lines’ event, in the Methodist Church on Thursday 16^th October, 7:30pm. All entrants to the competition and their guests are welcome to attend. Tickets for friends and family are available FREE from the Thatcham Bookshop.

On the evening, you will all have an opportunity to meet the Thatcham Writers and the highly acclaimed local author, Lynda Chater, who kindly judged the competition. The members of Thatcham Writers will also be performing a piece they have written especially for this year’s Thatcham Festival of Art & Leisure.
